1. Who we are
KBX ("we", "us") operates this website and the KBX coaching platform. We are the data controller of personal data you provide to us. Contact: hello@kbxhub.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash.
- Training data you submit: workout logs, videos, RPM and cadence telemetry.
- Billing data processed by our payment provider.
- Technical data: device, IP, basic usage analytics.
3. How we use it
To deliver coaching, run the platform, process payments, communicate about your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.
4. Legal bases
Contract (delivering the service), legitimate interests (improving the product and security), consent (optional marketing) and legal obligation (tax and accounting).
5. Sharing
We use vetted processors for hosting, payments, email and analytics. They process data on our instructions under written agreements.
6. Retention
We keep account and training data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to meet legal and accounting obligations.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Email hello@kbxhub.com to exercise them. You may complain to the ICO.
8. Cookies & camera
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a minimal analytics cookie to understand product usage. You can clear cookies at any time from your browser.
Camera policy, in plain English
- Camera frames are processed on your device during a session — they are never uploaded or stored on our servers.
- We only sync the resulting metrics: reps, cadence, score, and timestamps.
- Video review uploads are different — those you choose to send us are stored privately and only accessed by your coach.
- Revoke camera permission anytime from your browser or OS settings; nothing else in the app breaks.
